IJI on the move in Aarhus

Students of the IJI course International TV Journalism: Foreign Reporting at DMJX in Aarhus arrived together with the first snow storm! They have been on the move for the introduction week and the course’s start.

Part of the introduction week was a visit to the Danish regional East Jutland TV station TV2OJ,  a partner of the IJI consortium. Managing Editor Eva Kvist gave insights about the journalistic work, and how to run a TV station. She showed the TV station to the students and a satellite car with all equipment  in the cellar to the studios where all the programmes are broadcasted.

Another event of the introduction week for all international programmes at DMJX was the cultural evening where students from 22 different countries made cultural performances. The Kiwis did a beautiful Maori song and dance, and learned everybody to do the nose greeting.
