Monday 22 August (Small auditorium Room 234)

10:00 Welcome reception at DMJX with coffee/tea and rolls. Each student brings an A-4 size (about 30×20 cm) of their country flag.

Introduction to DMJX by / Inger Munk, Anna Nejrup and int. programme teachers

11:00 Tour of the school and lunch break and group photo.

12:30 Introduction to computers and net including wise-flow by Susanne Sommer and Henrik Meller and Chester Folming

13:30 Introduction to teaching methods by Ass. Professor Asbjørn Slot Jørgensen.

14:30 Introduction to Friendship-Ambassadors Project and Student House Aarhus by/ Anne Thorø Nielsen, Director Student House Aarhus

15:00 Photos for student cards in the Library

 

Tuesday 23 August (Small auditorium Room 234)

10:00 Introduction to Danish politics by/ Ass. Professor Roger Buch

12:00 Lunch

13:05 We meet in the main lobby of the City Hall (Rådhuspladsen 2, 8000 Aarhus C, not Park alle!). Take bus 1A from the school 12:37 to arrive at Park alle 12:57

13:15 Lecture at the City Hall cafeteria. ”Main topics on the Aarhus City Council Agenda” by/ Per Ryolf Senior Consultant at the Mayor’s Office Aarhus Municipality.

14:30 1-hour tour of the City Hall

16:00- Prepare cultural entertainment (one cultural presentation per nationality (approx 5 minutes): a song, a poem, a play or a …… No equipment available for the presentation.

If you’re the only one from your country, you’re welcome to join another country

 

19:00 – 22:00 Pizza Party at DMJX with cultural entertainment by students in the canteen.
